A natural setting

Camp Quaranup is in a Class A nature reserve on the Princess Royal Harbour, with panoramic views across to Albany. The natural coastal bushland and the pristine beach environment present a fantastic venue for recreation activities, of which the camp offers a wide range including canoeing, raft making, archery, bush walking, rogaining and team games.

The camp is an ideal launch-pad for groups exploring the natural wonders of the Torndirrup National Park and the wider Great Southern region.

The camp is the perfect venue for conferences, workshops, professional development days, dinners, sporting presentations and reunions. The numerous buildings with open spaces make Camp Quaranup a great venue for music, drama, study groups, workshops, weddings and conferences.

The unique surroundings and panoramic views will ensure that everyone feels a sense of peace and tranquillity.

Accommodation is mostly dormitory style. There are two separate buildings which are ideal for groups or families looking to restore their connection to nature and a simpler life.

Department of Education guidelines

The adventure recreation programs at Camp Quaranup meet or exceed the Department of Education's Guidelines for Outdoor Education and Recreation Activities. In consideration of specific environments at the site, variations from the department's guidelines exist to increase safety.
