Quaranup accommodation

Camp Quaranup can accommodate up to 158 people in the main dormitories, Nurses' Quarters and Isolation Hospital.

The standard check-in time, Monday to Saturday, is 2 pm and a check-out time of 10 am. Sunday and public holidays have a check-in time of 5 pm and check-out time of 2 pm. Alternative arrival and departure times may be arranged by contacting the camp directly.

Camp Quaranup main dorms

Main dormitories 

The dormitories overlook Princess Royal Harbour, sleeping a maximum of 112 people across three distinct areas. These have easy access to the dining room, classroom, recreation room, arts and craft areas as well as the main jetty and surrounding grounds.

  • North wing sleeps 47 people in bunk beds
  • South wing sleeps 37 people in bunk beds
  • Muttonbird dorm sleeps 14 in one room with bunk beds
  • Geake dorm sleeps 14 in one room with bunk beds
  • each dormitory has a minimum of one shower and toilet. 
  • there are two showers in Gull and Michaelmas dorms.
  • all catering provided by onsite chef. (self catering is not permitted)
  • a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend).

Nurses' Quarters and Isolation Hospital

The Nurses' Quarters and Isolation Hospital are self-contained buildings located approximately 300m from the main camp area.

Nurses' Quarters 

  • Nurses' Quarters sleeps 16
  • contains 2 bathrooms
  • veranda with barbecue, table and chairs
  • lounge room with TV and DVD
  • guests are required to bring their own bed linen, towels, toiletries
  • self-catering permitted 
  • a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend).

Isolation Hospital 

  • Isolation Hospital sleeps 18
  • contains two bathrooms and two toilets
  • a veranda with barbecue, tables and chairs
  • common room with TV and DVD player
  • guests are required to bring their own bed linen, towels, toiletries
  • self-catering permitted
  • a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend).
