Casino Employee Licence lodgement guide

The purpose of this lodgement guide is to provide guidance for individuals on how to apply for a Casino Employee Licence to work at Crown Casino.

In accordance with the Casino Control (Burswood Island) (Licensing of Employees) Regulations 1985 persons employed at Crown Casino in a casino related activity must be licensed in either a key or non-key position.

This guide has step-by-step instructions on how to complete the online form, including screenshots of the relevant pages.

Creating an account

Before you can submit any of our online forms you must create an account.

Once your account has been registered you will be taken to your My Account page. From here you can start a new application.

Your account is not currently linked to you. Once you have completed your first application your account will then be permanently linked to the individual person you select during the first part of the application.

After you have linked your account you will be able to update your details from this page using the Edit button.

Creating a standard casino employee application

After you have successfully logged into your account you can start a new application by following these steps.

  1. Click on New Lodgement.
  2. Select Gaming from the Group drop down menu.
  3. Select Casino Employee Application from the Type drop down menu.
  4. Click on Submit.

Application details form

This form is used to create a new client in our database. Complete the necessary pages and then click Submit to continue through to the Standard Lottery Application form.

  1. Please see the list of form pages on the left. You can use these to navigate the form quickly.
  2. You can also navigate the form using the Prev and Next buttons.
  3. If you need to save/print your answers you can use the PDF button.
  4. We recommend that you save your progress regularly using the Save button.
  5. Once the form is complete click the Submit button to proceed.

  1. Once you have clicked on Submit a client reference number has been created for you.
    • This number can be quoted to quickly locate your entity on our system.
  2. Click Continue to proceed to the Standard Lottery Permit Application form.

If you already hold a casino employee licence, save your progress and do not proceed any further.

Contact the department on 61 8 6551 4888 and select option 1 from the automated menu so that an officer can arrange for your newly created client reference number to be linked to your existing Client Reference number and licence.

Alternatively, please send an email to e.business@rgl.wa.gov.au and quote the newly created client reference number.

Casino Employee Licence application

  1. At first this form looks identical to the previous form; you can see the name of the current form displayed at the top of the page.
  2. The pages required to be completed are listed on the left as before.
  3. Proposed position: this page details the position you are applying for within Crown Casino.
  4. Select the employee security level. This will be indicated on your letter of consideration.
  5. Select your specific position from the drop down menu.
  6. Identification, photo and letter
    • List ID document provided to Crown, and provide ID document number
    • Attach photo which has been verified by representative of Crown Perth
    • Attach Letter of Consideration

    • When you make your selection please wait for the form to load the appropriate fields below (if applicable).

  2. You can use the drop down arrow to add or remove residency rows.
  3. Input your period from and to dates, these do not have to be date format so if you are still currently living at this address enter ‘Present’ in the To field.

  1. Convictions
    • The National Police Certificate (no older than 3 months) can either be attached now or submitted as a hard copy with Application Reference Number. This question is only applicable for Non-Key Employee applications.
  2. If you select Yes to this question please input your criminal convictions on the Next page.

Submitting the form and paying the fee

Once the form is completely filled out you can click on Submit to finish and submit the form.

  1. This is your Application Reference number. Please use this in all future correspondence with the department regarding this application.
  2. This is the amount due to be paid for this application. This fee is generated based off the information you provided in your application form.
  3. Click Continue to go to the payment options page.

  2. To pay for your application via credit card click Pay Online.
  3. If you do not want to pay for your application online please click on View Quote to view and print a quote with details on how to make payment via other methods.

Application completed

You have now successfully submitted your application.

You can monitor the status of your application via the My Account page when you are logged in on the account under which you completed the application.

  1. The details of the organisation this account is linked too.
    • You cannot change the entity an account is linked too, if you need to create an application under a different group name you will need to create a new account.
  2. To change the contact details of your organisation please click on the Edit button.
  3. Any Outstanding Fees that you have not yet paid can be accessed here.
  4. You can view the details of your pending applications under Applications in Progress.
    • To view the details of the lodgement and any attached documents click on View Details.
    • You can also attach additional documentation here by clicking on Upload Document.
