Accommodation at Woodman Point

Woodman Point Camp has a range of accommodation areas suitable for your group’s needs.

All of our accommodation areas have a check-in time of 2pm and check out of 10am Monday to Saturday. Other arrangements may be made through the camp (additional charges may apply). On Sundays and public holidays, check-in is at 5pm and check out at 2pm.

All dormitories are supplied with brooms, dustpans and mops and buckets.

Each room in the dorms are made up of single mattresses on bunks and pillows are supplied. Please bring a pillowcase to put over the camp pillow.

Jervoise and Tuart dormitories have sufficient crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans for self-catering purposes.

Featuring beautifully restored heritage buildings the Owen dormitory area is the largest accommodation area at Woodman Point.

The Owen dormitory has:

  • room for 100 people in 10 rooms with 10 beds (five bunks in each room)
  • includes two meeting rooms
  • one shared ablution block with separate male and female sections
  • a disabled shower and toilet in each
  • catering options available through Accolade Catering only
  • a covered veranda, clothesline and synthetic turf courtyard
  • a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend).

Spinifex and Grevillea dormitories

Spinifex and Grevillea dormitories

The Spinifex and Grevillea dormitories are two separate dormitory buildings, identical in size and design.

Located next to each other in the main accommodation precinct of the camp, these are the closest dormitories to the beach.

The Spinifex and Grevillea dormitories has:

  • space for 60 people each in bunk beds in 14 rooms (four and six beds per room)
  • two unisex internal ablution blocks
  • a disabled toilet and shower
  • catering options through Accolade Catering only
  • a covered veranda and clothesline
  • a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend).

Jervoise dormitory

The Jervoise dormitory is located away from the main accommodation precinct of the camp, closer to the main entrance gate. Jervoise is the only self-catering dormitory at the site. 

The Jervoise dormitory has:

  • space for 24 people in three bunk beds per room
  • a dining/meeting room
  • a kitchen
  • two internal unisex showers and toilets
  • self-catering or catering provided through Accolade Catering
  • a covered veranda, clothesline, barbecue and picnic table
  • a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend).

Acacia day area

The Acacia day area is a handy spot for day groups to access meeting, lunch and ablution facilities, and is located next to our basketball court, within close proximity to the beach.

The Acacia day area has:

  • capacity for 30 people in the meeting room
  • capacity for 150 people for a day program
  • male and female ablutions with an accessible toilet and shower
  • self-catering or catering provided through Accolade Catering
  • no minimum stay for day use

Tuart Cottage front view

Tuart Cottage

Located behind the recreation hall, Tuart Cottage is a unique accommodation facility that functions as a stand-alone cottage. It's perfect for camp leader accommodation, as well as a quiet location for a weekend break. Tuart is charged at a flat-rate per night and is subject to school and public holiday surcharges.

Tuart Cottage has:

  • capacity for 10 people in bunk beds and two single beds
  • three bedrooms, one lounge/dining room and a kitchen
  • two bunk beds per room with the two single beds in a separate room
  • one bathroom with shower, vanity and bath, separate toilet and laundry trough
  • self-catering
  • a covered patio, picnic table, clothesline and barbecue
  • minimum stay of one night.
