GST rebate

The department administers a rebate scheme, which is available to WA-based gambling operations claiming GST payable on gross gambling margin.

A GST rebate, payable on gross gambling margin is available to the following services:

  • Bookmakers licensed in Western Australia
  • Racing clubs (in respect of totalisator turnover only)
  • Lotterywest.

The GST rebate claim form can be obtained directly from the department or download a copy online, print it out, and mail it to our postal address.
