This report includes key highlights from across our agency, and provides final, audited financial outcomes, and other legislated disclosures, for the year ended 30 June 2024.

This has been a landmark year for DLGSC with the launch of our new Strategic Plan which guides our work fostering a cohesive, prosperous, vibrant and heathy Western Australian community.

The Annual Report outlines the many ways we deliver positive impacts for the State through our funded programs, services and regulatory responsibilities that support all Western Australians to reach their potential and live their best lives.

This report outlines achievements across each of our sectors including

• arts, culture and creative industries
• sport and recreation industries
• racing, gaming and liquor-related industry sectors
• local government sector
• specialist Aboriginal projects and engagements, including history
• culturally and linguistically diverse communities, groups and organisations
• major arts, culture, creative industry, sporting and recreation infrastructure projects.

It also showcases the great work we do together with our partners, stakeholders and the wider community.
