Trails WA, the lead association for marketing trails, has released its top 150 list — recognising the top trail destinations across the state.

The list, published on Trails WA’s refreshed website, boasts detailed maps, user reviews and information designed to help you plan and explore trails in your region of choice.

You can search trails which are categorised under hiking, mountain biking, Aboriginal culture, and wheelchair accessible trails — a testament to the diverse offerings our state provides.

Additionally, you can participate in the People's Choice award, by voting for your favourite trails, with the winners set to be announced in the coming year.

Trails WA advocates for more than 1000 trails across WA, and promotes the physical, economic, environmental and cultural benefits of trails locally, and to the rest of the world.  Its initiatives are supported by the Department of Local Government and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) via funding programs.

Most recently, DLGSC provided $200,000 through its Strategic Initiatives Grant Program for the 2023-24 financial year.
