The third and final round of applications is now open until 1 March, for events to be held by 30 June 2023.
The summer events season has received a massive boost through the program with funding already awarded to 41 applicants in the first 2 rounds.
The Perth CBD and Northbridge has come alive with markets, festivals, artistic performances and light shows, and there is still plenty more to come as events that have been funded through the $4 million program continue to rollout.
The State Government's investment is part of a $12 million package aimed at increasing foot traffic in the Perth CBD and Northbridge, with the intention of making the city more connected, active, and an attractive place to live, work, visit or play.
The CBD Revitalisation Grants program is administered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
All applications are assessed against criteria of economic impact, activation and capability to deliver.
Round 3 of the CBD Revitalisation Grant Program will ensure the support of eligible events right though to 30 June 2023.
Previous successful events funded so far have offered an incredible range of activities from music and sports to sandcastles and wine festivals, so there truly is something for everyone which is helping to bring more people into the Perth CBD and Northbridge.
Eligible businesses, not-for-profits, and property owners with ideas for events held in the Perth CBD and Northbridge that will be held by 30 June 2023 can apply for grants in Round 3. Applications close at 5pm on 1 March 2023.
