The event is free to attend, though people are required to register for a free ticket to attend.
The event will provide Western Australians with a chance to experience the Melbourne Cricket Ground service live and pay their respects to the champion cricketer — with similar events taking place in other capital cities around the country.
Attendees will need to redeem their free tickets from the Ticketmaster website next week, with further details around timing to be made available at soon.
To support the event, Transperth train services will stop at Stadium Station before the event, with arrangements to be confirmed when the timings are released.
