Intro
These grants for up to $25,000 are aimed at growing participation in hiking across the state through the development and delivery of new opportunities for participation, skill development and/or building the capacity of leaders (including guides, instructors and volunteers).
Applicants are encouraged to be creative and innovative in the development of their projects around bushwalking or trail running. Projects should align with theβ―WA Hiking Strategy, encourage participation and capitalise on the benefits of trail running and bushwalking.
Eligible groups are local governments, community organisations and local active recreation clubs and associations.
An application should seek to do one or more of these things:
Entries close 5 November 2021 and projects must be completed by 30 June 2023.
