Intro
COVID-19 has impacted all our lives, and vaccines are our best chance to help us out of this pandemic. It’s so important we get the majority of Western Australians vaccinated as soon as possible — this is the key to reducing strong measures and restrictions in the future — and our best chance at ensuring opportunities for sport and recreation in our communities.
If you’re eligible, we strongly encourage you to book an appointment by visiting the Roll up for WA website. If you’re not yet eligible, create an account and register your information on VaccinateWA so you can be notified when you’re able to book an appointment — this is dependent on vaccine supply from the Australian Government.
The sport and recreation sector has shown tremendous resilience and flexibility over the past 18-months through the provision of responsive and considered sporting and recreational opportunities for the community.
Supporting the Roll Up for WA campaign is another great opportunity to once again demonstrate the importance and relevance of a strong sport and recreation industry.
Share your support on social media using the hashtag #RollUpforWA and the various Facebook frames and stickers to encourage your family, friends and community to roll up their sleeve. The WA.gov.au website also has a helpful stakeholder toolkit with social media and e-newsletter assets for you to use and distribute out to your own networks.
