Intro

Food and drink will be available for purchase. This is an alcohol and smoke-free event.

Please select your preferred session (10am to 12pm, or 12pm to 2pm) and we'll provide access to the ferries from the Albany Marina to Camp Quaranup on the day. We expect some lines may develop during busy times, so please be patient.

Please be aware that registering for the event does not guarantee specific seating on the ferry or priority access for the return ferry from Camp Quaranup to the Albany Marina, or to activities or for food available for purchase on the day.

Cost

Entry to the event is free.

Many activities on the day are free or at low cost. Food is available onsite, starting from $3.50.

Transport

Parking

Car parking is limited onsite at the camp and is provided to ACROD permit holders as priority. If you require parking access, please call the camp on 9844 4087 to arrange in advance.

Parking to catch the ferry from the Albany Marina

Free car parking will be available adjacent to the Albany Entertainment Centre and Albany Boat Shed.

Ferry to Camp Quaranup

People who have registered will get priority access onto the ferry to Camp Quaranup, according to the morning and afternoon time slots. Individual seat allocation is not provided. We expect some lines may develop during busy times and thank you in advance for your patience. Registration does not guarantee priority access on the return ferry from Camp Quaranup to the Albany Marina.

The ferry boats will depart every 20-30 minutes from the Albany Marina, transporting to/from the Quaranup jetty. The ferry journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

Bus to Camp Quaranup

A bus will be available to to collect visitors adjacent the Albany Entertainment Centre and delivering direct to Quaranup. This bus service will depart every 30 to 60 minutes, with the one-way bus journey taking around 20 minutes.

Returning

Return ferry and bus services depart the camp throughout the day. Please be aware there may be long lines to catch ferries at the end of the day. Buses will also take visitors back to Albany Marina. We recommend bringing a hat, wearing sun smart clothing and bringing water and snacks in case you need to wait for any period of time.

Prams

Prams can be accommodated on the ferry and bus (folded and stored in undercarriage). Please be aware that Camp Quaranup has uneven terrain and a steep, sealed path from the ferry to the main buildings.

Last ferry

Subject to numbers on the day, the last ferry to the camp is expected to depart Albany Marina at 2pm. This will ensure all visitors have an opportunity to explore the site and enjoy the festivities. If you intend to visit later in the day, please be aware that, subject to weather conditions and instructor availability, some activities may not go ahead and there may be queues limiting your ability to participate.

Tickets

You are not required to bring a printed ticket to the event. We will email you closer to the date so please remember to check your inbox a few days prior to the event to receive information to help you plan for the day and gain information for priority access to the ferry to Camp Quaranup for your chosen time slot.

Food

Devonshire teas, biscuits, slices, sausage sizzle and ploughman's style lunches will be available for purchase, and an ice cream truck and coffee van will be onsite.

What to bring

We recommend you bring along a refillable water bottle and coffee cup, hat, sunscreen, wear comfortable shoes and consider a change of clothes if you are planning on trying canoeing.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase, however, you are more than welcome to bring along a picnic with a blanket and find a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy the festivities.

Please note this is a smoke and alcohol-free event, and no pets allowed.

Participation is subject to fitting a life jacket. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free geocaching and rogaining

It is recommended children are accompanied by an adult.

Kite making $5

Free guided tours

It is recommended children are accompanied by an adult.

5 year old+ with parents assistance.
