Tuesday 10 September 2024

There are 3 workshops available on different aspects of Child Safeguarding in Sport. You are welcome to attend either 1, 2 or all 3 of the workshops below.

9:00 to 11:00am	Implementing a safeguarding risk management plan	This is a practical workshop that will explain how to safely recruit people working with children and young people.	SSAs, SAROs and peak bodies CEO's and board members people with responsibility for managing safeguarding in sport.
11:30 to 12:30am	Child safe recruitment	This is a practical workshop that will explain how to safely recruit people working with children and young people.	SSAs, SAROs and peak bodies CEO's and board members people with responsibility for recruitment.
1:00 to 2:30pm	Creating a culture of reporting and steps to WA safeguarding reporting	In this workshop you will develop an understanding of the importance of creating a culture of reporting to keep children and young people safe.	SSAs, SAROs and peak bodies CEO's and board members people with responsibility for managing safeguarding in sport.
