Funding open for artists and musicians to SNAP up opportunities
2 new programs are opening today for short-notice opportunities that arise for Western Australian artists or contemporary musicians.
The Short Notice Activities Programs (SNAP) will support artists, arts workers, musicians, bands and music industry professionals to take advantage of unplanned career-building opportunities.
The SNAP supports artists to engage in high-quality national, regional and international arts and cultural opportunities.
Short Notice Activities Programs (SNAP)
The Contemporary Music Fund SNAP offers funding for short-notice professional development and national, regional and international touring/showcasing opportunities for WA musicians and musical acts.
There are 2 programs for 2023/2024. The first program opens from 11 July to 7 December 2023, and the second opens from 9 January to 6 June 2024.
The SNAP complements other culture and the arts grant programs, including the Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups program and the Arts Projects for Organisations program, open 3 times yearly, offering funding for larger planned projects and programs.
