Small grants a big win for Western Australians
24 local governments and sporting organisations have shared almost $1 million under the State Government's Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) Small Grants.

- 24 local governments and sporting organisations share in $892,862 to increase physical activity and participation in sport and active recreation.
- The 2021-22 CSRFF July small grants funding round is currently open.
Recipients of the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) Small Grants received up to $100,000 for the delivery of community sport and recreation facility projects.
Local governments and not-for-profit organisations could apply for funding for projects ranging from $7500 to $300,000.
Among the successful projects are:
- the construction of a synthetic bowling green in the Shire of Ravensthorpe
- installation of a 50,000 litre rainwater tank at the Albany Equestrian Centre
- lighting upgrades at Churchill Park in the City of Busselton
- construction of an accessible changeroom at the Perth Dinghy Sailing Club.
The 2021-22 CSRFF July small grants round is currently open and closes 31 August 2021.
The CSRFF is administered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC).
