Smaller State Sporting Associations to receive funding boost
More than 70 State Sporting Associations (SSAs) will be eligible to apply for funding to help develop and grow their sports, with the State Government announcing a new $1.7 million funding pool.

The Sport Development Fund will offer one-off assistance of up to $40,000 for mid-sized SSAs, up to $30,000 for smaller SSAs and up to $20,000 for developing SSAs.
It aims to assist State Sporting Associations in building membership and participation levels, and delivering new programs and services in 2021.
The program will be administered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
