Australian National Development Index (ANDI) Roundtable is taking place this month, drawing together state government director generals who will explore the development of a Western Australian wellbeing index.
ANDI is a conceptual framework drawing on a broad spectrum of domains of life and the sustainable wellbeing of our communities.
The ANDI measures what matters to Australians. It tracks wellbeing outcomes from year to year to offer clear, valid and regular information on the quality of life for all Australians.
The ANDI draws from best practice of world leading projects such as the Human Development Index, Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness Index, the Canadian Index of Wellbeing and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) Better Life Index.
Western Australian senior leaders are having a round table discussion this month to explore the development of a wellbeing index for Western Australia.
