Every Club Hub

A one-stop shop for the State's 5500 community sporting clubs and their volunteers is now available thanks to the department’s Every Club Hub initiative.

Featuring everything from guides to running club finances, writing grant funding applications, and running a social media account - the Every Club Hub provides guidance on the many tasks club volunteers need to manage. This information may also be useful for local government club development officers.

It was developed following State-wide consultation with 760 clubs and 92 local governments, with strong representation from the regions.

Face-to-face focus groups also took place with 47 of WA's State Sporting Associations, nine Regional Sporting Associations, and representatives from 87 metropolitan and regional local governments.

The hub forms part of the Every Club Program which provides web based information, learning and development resources, and networking opportunities for club volunteers across the State. Strategies for clubs to establish good relationships with their local government are included.

It also provides localised, flexible and responsive support to any community sporting or active recreation club that wishes to take part in the program.

To date, the department has invested in 33 Every Club projects across Western Australia totalling $1,083 million over two years, held two Every Club Network Forums, delivered 21 training workshops specifically designed for clubs and volunteers since January 2018.
